PreK-4 Speads Their Wings

Our Pre-K 4 students have been hard at work acting as real-world scientists over the last few weeks! The classes have been closely observing and studying the fascinating life cycle of the butterfly. From tiny caterpillars to beautiful chrysalises, the students watched the transformation happen right before their eyes.
The unit reached an exciting culmination this week when the children gathered outside to gently set their newly emerged butterflies free into the world. It was a wonderful, hands-on learning experience that our littlest learners won't soon forget!
Children gather around a butterfly net on a grassy lawn, observing its contents.
